Hi,
I am on the PVE-no-subsrciption repository and a bunch of updates were applied - including a kernel fix - last weekend (17/18th November 2023).

After the reboot all nodes, containers, all storage and VM's appear greyed out and with a question mark on them, then change to normal and this repeats all the time.
When this happens the gui is still reponsive and only shows VM and CT numbers, not their names. As far as i know nothing else has changed.
No suspicious messages in dmesg.

Another symtom that i get suddenly is that all storage, (local, NFS, SMB, ISCSI) suddenyly times out when requesting information about it in the GUI.
That is not the case in a second PVE server.

No idea which components are involved in this action.
please, any ideas welcome

Problem solved. It turned piut to be an ISCSI LUN on a QNAP NAS that was unresponsive because a configuration error on the NAS (my own fault).
THe LUN was allocated as a thin volume with a warning threshhold of 80%. As it was bigger than that the NAS necame unresponsive towards Proxmox and that led to frequent attempt to use the storage.

Problem fixed by reallocating a bigger ISCSI LUN and removing the old storage. THe redeining the ISCSI connection in Proxmox and realloting the container disk on it.
