When I allocated disk space for a virtual machine, I found that the actual space occupied was 107% of the space I allocated. For example, I check that my remaining available capacity is 501GB, and I allocate 500GB to the virtual machine, which will actually occupy a space of 536GB, and then IO errors will occur when the virtual machine writes to about 465GB. Is there any documentation describing this problem?

No, your PVE setup, not the guest setup.
I installed PVE with default settings. Picture 1 is my device information. In picture 2, you can see that the disk space I set is 280GB, and in picture 3 it becomes 300GB.1.png2.png3.png
