All new containers take a long time to start up

For some reason, all new containers I have been creating lately are taking a long time to start up. When I am able to SSH in after a while, I perform a systemctl status and I get this



While checking the journal, I get this



Not sure why this has just started happening.

After a while everything goes to degraded


My containers are all built using the Debian 11 template, nothing else installed at all. Brand new container.

Please help.

Hi, please post the container config pct config <VMID> for the container in question. Might it be that you have missconfigured your network and the container waits on DHCP, blocking all services which depend on networking? Check the output of journalctl -r -u networking from within the container for further hints.

So it seems you have DHCP for IPv6 activated. Do you have any DHCPv6 servers in your network? Otherwise you should use static or slaac, as your container will wait for a DHCPv6 lease until it times out.
