Hi,
I already twice had to reboot my Asus PN50 ryzen 4800u with kernel 5.15. VMs running xml data dump inegration (64gb, 8 core, nvmssd), around 40gb xml per run.

this was fine on 6.13 old Proxmox with last 5.4 kernel.

After some days of running I encounter:

suddenly parts of the menues missing (only Summary, Hardware, Cloud init, Options, Task history are there, Console Menu main button dysfunctional, maybe some more i didnt find now).

The VMs and an lxc myql server (500gig ssd, 32gb ram, 6 core , 10000cpu, priv) still seem to run okay but only ssh is possible. console not working.

I did not find anything strange in kernel.log or syslog.

Any Ideas where to search for more info? any known issue? This is my private "server". No subscription repo.

THANKS

cheers, Timo

Hi,

Can you post the pveversion -v output?

suddenly parts of the menues missing (only Summary, Hardware, Cloud init, Options, Task history are there, Console Menu main button dysfunctional, maybe some more i didnt find now).
That's normally only done for users without permissions to access those parts on any VM/CT/Node, do you login with such an user or are you using root@pam?

What's always good to check on major upgrades: force reload the site (CTRL + SHIFT + R or CTRL + F5) or clear the browser cache in some other way, just to be sure you did not get some mixed JS files loaded causing glitches.

Thanks, Thomas.

I tried both reloading and cache clearing and using diffrent browser with new login. I am root@pam when this happens.

Hmm, sounds odd. Can you please check both the browser debug console and the systems journal for any error messages?
