HI there

I did a fresh install of PROMOX using Promox 8, the installation with even start. would hang up at booting the installation ISO.

then I freshly install PROXMOX 7. then proceeded to do the upgrade. Upgrade went well until I reboot the the computer. promox would get in to a boot loop. then i noticed the problem was with the kernel. So I went and booted with the previous kernel (5.15). then I was able to get my server back and running

any ideas why Promox wont boot with the new kernel but works with the old kernel

So I am running at the moment Promox 8 with old kernel.

Hi,

I would to see if there is any update for the BIOS. If there is an update I would update and see if that did the trick.
