Hi everybody

I'm french, so sorry for my bad engish...

I've promox VE 4.4 installed on a terra server (with RAID 5 adaptec RAID 8405 SAS).
After rebooting server, my promox don't start.
Grub is launched
After grub entry "Proxmox Virtual Environment GNU/Linux started,
the two messages are displayed :
Loading Linux 4.2.6-1-pve ...
Loading initial ramdisk ...

and after black screen with blank cursor on the top-left corner...

When I go in the grub shell, I see my partitions (hd0) (hd0,gpt3) (hd0, gpt2) (hd0, gpt1) (lvm/pve-data) (lvm/pve-root) (lvm/pve-swap)
and ls / give
lost+found/ boot/ var/ lib64/ run/ proc/ bin/ tmp/ usr/ root/ lib/ dev/ media/ opt/ sys/ home/ mnt/ srv/ sbin/ etc/

It's very urgent, because a school management app is on one of vm ...

Have you any idea to resolve my big problem ?

Thank you very mutch in advance

Hello and welcome here in the forum. :)

Were there any known changes to the system?
What was the reason for the reboot?

Please post your next post in the English forum, or write here in German in the German sub-forum ;) Thank you.

Hi Fireon,
thank for your response. I'm not in the good forum ? (it's titled "Proxmox VE (Deutsch/German)")

The reason of change was that my VM was very slow (Windows 2012R2) and I wanted to check the bios settings for virtualization ...
But the bios had virtualization enabled. On the other hand there was an IO parameter for the virtualization not activated and I put back all the parameters ...
And impossible to start with any live-cd ! Ubuntu 18.04, Debian 8.8 or 10.7, the boot is running and after nothing...

Really? No livedisc too? Ok, then i would recommend to reset the bios completly. Maybe something is wrong. But write down for you importand settings before reset.
