After installation with Ventoy rdinit=/vtoy/vtoy

I got stuck removing "rdinit=/vtoy/vtoy"

I am able to start the System by removing "rdinit=/vtoy/vtoy" from the bootmenu.

Making the settings permanent did not pan out for me, is systemd used for booting?
How to remove the rdinit string?

Check both /etc/default/grub and /etc/kernel/cmdline for the presence of rdinit? Remove it and apply the correct activation steps: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#sysboot_edit_kernel_cmdline

and run

proxmox-boot-tool refresh
