Advanced backup retention

Recently I had some problems with broken backups. After some datastore modifications I forgot to set a backup veryfier. So in one case I had 5 broken backups of one VM.

So is there a way so I can set the prune job to not remove an old backup if all new ones are verified but not ok?

no prune jobs don't interact with the verified status at all, but you can manually set some backups as 'protected', then they will not be removed by pruning

okay, it's not a bad idea.

You can also add a verify job to verify the backups automatically (and re-verify them every x days)
