Adding Storage

Hello, I am new to Proxmox. I just installed proxmox 5.2 over my existing XenServer installation. Here is the first problem I am having. I have in my machine 2 each 4TB Hard drives which were in Raid 1. 1 each 1TB SSD, and 1 each 160GB drives. I installed Proxmox on the 160 GB drive but when I go to create new VM's it only sees the 160GB Drive. When I try to add the additional storage through the GUI it sees the old Xen partitions. It also sees the drives I previously had set up as Raid 1 under Xen as two separate drives.

How do I unmount and format the previous drives.
How do I re-add the drives to proxmox?

I would like to use the SSD for my VM installations and then the 4TB Drives as storage.

Thanks,

Go to the nodes disks page and initialise the old xen disks. Then you will be able to set them up as you see fit eg. ZFS mirror for the 4tb disks

Or do it all from the command line with sgdisk or something like that
