adding physical drive

So I installed proxmox for the first time. how do I add physical drives to the proxmox server?

ok I searched and have it added via lvm. I'm using clonezilla to migrate my server but. Saving the vms to another drive but my vms doesn't boot up. I can start it but doesn't boot up

What can you tell us about the original server that you are migrating? Is it physical/virtual? OS? have you tried the mergeide.reg trick if necessary? when you boot up the VM do you see anything? a BSOD?
