Adding a valid recipients list

How do I add a valid recipients list? And does it keep itself updates?
I want to accept email only to valid recipients
Presently I use a postfix script and have a cronjob for it. It extracts the email addresses and then adds them to a recipients list
Should I or could I use the same method or do you have a better way?

Simply enable receiver verification.

Configuration/MailProxy/Options/VerifyReceivers = yes (450)

Thats not required - it works without by sending test mails to your server.
