I added a new 100GB volume to a Windows 2012 R2 VM with the Proxmox UI. All seems fine. Went into Windows to initialize and format the disk and it's just not there. Tried restarting the VM, no help. Doesn't show up in Device Manager either. What am I doing wrong here? Help?

Restart the VM in not enough, you have to shutdown it ("turn off") and then reboot ("turn on") again to hardware changes to take effect.
