Add HP SAS Expander to existing ProxMox? (HP ‎487738-001)

I connected the card and cabled the drives to the port marked "To Backplane" (port 2). When I run lspci, no entry is found related to HP. I wanted to run lsscsi but that command doesn't exist.

I'm guessing I'm missing drivers and other SAS related modules? Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have any SAS controller card?

Your drivers show lsblk command.

You also need to have some sas controller. The expander only does branching to connect more sas drives.

How man disks do you want to connect?
How do you want to combine the disks (hw-raid or e.g. ZFS)?

4x 8TB HDD in LVM RAID-10. Format in ext4, add to ProxMox as a directory.
