Add CephFS: fs-name: invalid format - invalid configuration ID / missing in documentation

Hi,

I can't add a CephFS to proxmox, no matter what I fill into the field fs-name field, it is always invalid, that is "/", "filling in nothing" at all, or any other name.
Furthermore there is absolutely no documentation about this fs-name field anywhere, when clicking on the help button, it brings me to a page that never mentions this field and what it does and what valid entries are.

where exactly do you try to add it? in datacenter->storage? if yes, this must be the 'ceph fs' name of your existing ceph fs on your ceph cluster.
you should be able to list all on your ceph cluster by doing 'ceph fs ls'

Yes, via datacenter -> storage.

ok so what is your ceph fs name and what exactly did you try to enter? (i guess '/' is not the real ceph fs name)

/ is the default filesystem (which I don't know how it selects that), but / is valid (at least in the fstab notation, mounting the root of the FS)

i think there is a misunderstanding somewhere... when you create a cephfs, you have to provide a name, which is what we need here. as i said before, you can list all available cephfs with
'ceph fs ls'

I'm stuck at this point too. When I try "ceph fs ls" it returns nothing, yet I have added a Ceph RBD cluster to my Proxmox cluster. Do you mean cephfs has to be set up via CLI commands first and THEN added via the gui? If so, then where are the exact instructions to do that? Or, any other advice how to add cephfs to Proxmox?

Oh,I just got it. One goes to the Ceph > CephFS area on a NODE and add at least 3 "Metadata Servers" THEN "Create CephFS" and give it a name... job done. I've been going around in circles for over a month trying to find my previous sentence mentioned somewhere, anywhere.
