Add a local lm to an existing vm

I'm currently moving my old XMS vms into a new proxmox box. One of the vm uses an lvm that is actually a full disk for storing backups. I installed this disk into the pve box and I can see it / mount it.

Is there a way to add this local lvm storage to vm so that it can be mounted and used as backup storage just like before?

Hi,
you can disable the lvm on the host (filter in lvm.conf) and path through this disk to the VM.
