Accessing an SMB server from LXC containers

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to access an SMB server from my LXC containers running on Proxmox, specifically for use with Jellyfin. I would like to know the best method to mount the SMB share in my containers.

Do you have any tips or specific steps to follow to achieve this? Thank you in advance for your help!

I’ve rebuilt my LXC container in ‘privileged’ mode, but I don’t understand how to connect my NAS via SMB to the container. Could someone explain the procedure to me?

This is out of Proxmox VE forum, as it is general Linux ability, but there is clear tutorial for you, including automatic smb / cifs mount.
