HI, is there a way to have a VM on Proxmox and access it automatically from a client when i start it?
To clear what I am asking for; I want to start my pc and it has on an OS that automatically connects to the VM on the network, is it possible?
Basically it would be as if it was a normal Desktop, but the real pc is in another room in a server rack. I plan on using Proxmox for other servers other than the desktop VM.
Thanks to everybody that answers.

Hmmm, as I understand, you need when you start your PC/Laptop start then automatically pop up the VM that you want, so here I need to ask you what do you want exactly start automatically [SPICE, noVNC, or SHELL]

If SPICE you could use spice-example script [1], to do that you could create a bash script if you are using Linux distribution on your PC and start it at startup if you are using Windows OS you also could do that in the same with PowerShell and put the script on startup as well

I don't want to have a full windows or linux install on my pc, I was asking if existed an OS that only managed a VM. so that the real os is in proxmox and i manage it through a laptop. without having to install windows. If I have to install windows/linux anyway, the VM becomes useless. Sorry, but english is not my native language, i hope you understand anyway
