About change the virtual machine resource in Proxmox

Hi All experts,

I am glad to visit this site.

I have a question about change the VM resource. In vmware, if I changed the VM resource(such as change the number of vcpu, memory...), I must shutdown the VM in advance. what about in proxmox? May I change the VM resource without shutdown or reboot the VM? Thanks a lot.

You can currently change the settings while the VM is running. But you need to stop/start the VM to activate the changes.
