Hey, I am a new member here, but I have been using Proxmox for over a year.

Just install new Proxmox 7 on a new machine IBM X3650 M4, but after a fresh install, I saw a /dev/sdc USB with iso9660 shown in menu DISK, please see attached picture. But I am sure I have no USB plug in anywhere, anybody know why? and how to get rid of it?

The model "Virtual_Media" probably hints that this is something from e.g. an ikvm/ipmi/idrac/etc. ?

Hi, Dominik;

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking about the same thing. For ibm machine is IMM by the way.

Here is what I did but did not help:
1. I went into IMM, and make sure there is no virtual media attached to remote section. (you could attach a iso file to the machine to reboot from remotely)
2. I reset IMM
3. I have other ibm x3650 m4, and I installed same proxmox using same install usb

all above did not help. is anything I could do and find out where is this virtual media coming from?

ooh, Dominik;

I stalled the same proxmox on other ibm x3650 m4, after install, it does not show this usb virtual media. so, I think my issue is only to this machine.,
