A shared folder on Synology - which is faster SMB / NFS?

I would think NFS. SMB isn't good at utilizing multiple cores and isn't native.

i tested it at my homelab. in most tests nfs without authentification is faster thatn smb.
i recomend using nfs.

I testet via win 10 client and crystaldisk mark 7 (you need special cmd commands to connect a win 10 maschine to a nfs share, but it works)
