64bit VM

both works without issues. please describe your problem in detail and make sure you run the latest version as always. (run apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade).

Hi,

I've a 64 bit CPU ( CPU(s)4 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3320 @ 2.50GHz ) and if I madeuname -a , I've a 64 bit kernel.
uname -a
Linux vmx-node01 2.6.24-7-pve #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Aug 21 09:07:39 CEST 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Proxmox version : (package/version/build)pve-manager/1.3/4023

I've made last update.

and what problem do you have in detail?
 
I downloaded Ubuntu ISO 64bit and I tried to install in kvm mode.
But at startup , the installer wrote that version was not good for this type of machine because I need a 64bit machine. Then I tried with 32bit version and it gone.

this was a bug some time ago but already fixed. please post your output of 'pveversion -v'

really strange. works here and on all other users without problems.
