6.2.16-18-pve hangs at boot

thought i would try 6.2.16-18-pve

the node hangs at boot at the kernel version number
hung on reboot



I hard reset it and i thought it hung on startup at the line where it shows the new kernel number
but i can't find any previous boot logs for dmesg....

how best to get logs?

(note recovery mode hangs too, reverting to 6.2.16-15-pve still works fine)

Can you boot from an older pve-kernel?


I would also check if the BIOS has an update available.

Yes, as i said in the post 6.2.16-15-pve works fine.

This is a 13th gen NUC, pretty modern BIOS, last update was May, - i don't expect new updates anytime soon if at all, given the whole intel nuc / asus transition....
