550-SPF: IP is not allowed to send mail from hotmail.com

HI,

I am new to Proxmox Mail Gateway, I am using it for first time from a week. currently I am using it for only inbound mail for spam filter. But I am facing following error while receiving emails

host my.mailserver.com [IP] said:
550-SPF: [Proxmox mail gateway IP] is not allowed to send mail from hotmail.com: 550

am I missing something? any settings?

It seems "my.mailserver.com" does SPF checks - and (rightfully) says that your PMG is not a mail-sender for hotmail.com

I assume my.mailserver.com is your downstream mail-server - in that case - add your PMG to the trusted relays (in the config of my.mailserver.com)

I apologies for above reply I found the option in Smartermail to relay the IP. but still do you have another solution like I am using spamexperts it does not required to add IP address of Mail gateway in relay. because my many domains are hosted on reseller hosting or shared hosting.
