[SOLVED] 40Gb CEPH Network Infiniband

Hi,

i planning to create a 40Gb Ceph-Network and looking out for best supported infiniband hardware.

It would be great if we could gather some cards with no compatiblity issues here.

Which cards with 40Gb are in use in proxmox server without any issues (and no big hacking to get them running in first place).

Hi,
Ceph does not support Infiniband directly.
You can use Ethernet over Infiniband with DRMA.
The most people use Mellanox card which is good working and included in PVE.
