4.4-2

Hello..
I upgraded to 4.4 and ran all updates but ended up with 4.4-1.
I am trying to follow the great video instructions.
The video has 4.4-2 among other things mine does not have the win 10/2016 option under the OS-tab when creating a new kvm. Any suggestions ? Thank you

How do i move to 4.4-2 or add the KVM -OS option for 10/2016.

Sometimes just need to do a ctrl + f5

Yup ... now i followed the instructions per the 2016 install video using the Vertio drivers. once it gets pointed to the CD-rom for the drivers it can't find the HDD. my guess is that they are not signed or it does not like the SCSI HDD as suggested by the video.
Anny thoughts on that ?

Did you drill down to the exact folder for the SCSI drivers and make sure it installed the drive.

Which option did you use for the HD-Disk within Proxmox? Virtio or SCSI?

The instructions posted on the video posted in this forum uses SCSI ...

I changed the HDD to SATA and that works ... is it better to use virtio ... the server this is going on to test is a 2950 with sas

Make sure your selecting the drive within the "vioscsi" folder

I did try that but was not able to get anywhere ... the directions point to the right directory but it pop's up with the message that it could not find the driver and since there is no HDD to install to that is where the ball stops rolling... now using the sata option it installed the OS and i have loaded the virtio drivers for the network, pci and the baloon drivers. I just wonder if it is super important to solve the issue or leave it on SATA drive.
