I have now decided to connect my Qotom Machine to Proxmox and virtually browse OPNsense.
My Qotom has 8x 2.5GB port nics of which the first 2 are reserved for Proxmox and for various services.
I would like to split the next NICS to 2 Opnsense VMs so that my home network and server network are separated by the 2 Opnsense VMS.
Now I wonder, A is this possible? B does it generate too much overhead on the Nics C how do I connect the 2 VMs together that I can connect from the management network (switch in home network with VLAN)?
Or what do you think is the best practical solution? Put everything on one VM and manage it or effectively separate everything?
