2 Proxmox Questions (virtualbox / nat'ing)

Hey everyone, firstly i'd like to say how much im loving proxmox, perfect for what i need!

I have two questions if anyone can help.

1. If i try to run a proxmox installation behind a NAT router (dmz enabled) when adding this server to my cluster it doesn't seem to be able to communicate properly, possibly as its not broadcasting the correct ip address?


2. My server doesn't allow me to use KVM therefor im stuck with container only options, i wonder, would installing sun virtualbox on the master proxmox server be safe? just so i can have 1 non-container non-linux machine running.

I have a similar problem, my hardware dont supports virtualization technology so KVM is not possible.

Is recommended to install virtualbox? mmm I want to run some windows and two ubuntus with xserver (acces them with vnc).

Hardware is core 2, but mainboard dont support VT

I can confirm this definately works I have virtualbox installed alongside proxmox without issues. Just be careful when using package management

What about performance? I also have a c2d but motherboar ddoesnt support vt.

But I think It will be better to Xforward for linux, I need virtualbox for win vms.

Me too but i cant find the Virtualbox in the container on web menu is there a fix to this.
This could make things realy easy to all the guys who have old native server lying in and convert them into cluster any help will be greatful.

Is there a install guide with Proxmox with Virtualbox integration ???
