2-node HA cluster with JBOD chassis?

Would something like this be possible?

I have a spare Supermicro 836 JBOD chassis with the BPN-SAS2-836EL2 backplane in it so I was wondering if it'd be possible to use it for shared storage?

Ceph would require 3 nodes from what I'm seeing and I don't need the fastest storage possible. I just want the 2 nodes to be able to share it if I create ZFS pools over the drives.

It looks like LVM is only an option as shared storage over Fibre Channel isn't it according to this note?
"It is possible to use LVM on top of an iSCSI or FC-based storage. That way you get a shared LVM storage."

I'm thinking that a TrueNAS HA cluster may be my best option, however, I'm also wondering if it's really worth it for home use.

I'll have to give it some thought.

I think I'm going to just add a couple of SSD's in a ZFS mirror to each node and use that for the things that I want to have in HA (Git, Nextcloud, etc) as 1TB of storage should be plenty for those things.

I can then just add the data folders for them to SMB shares, mount them in UnRAID, and back them up that way as well. Then I'll have each Proxmox node with a copy, my primary NAS with a copy, my backup NAS with a copy, plus a cloud copy using Duplicati.
