What exactly is in the TEST repo?

I checked both Developer Documentation [1] and Package Repositories [2]. What I have not found is, what's in the test repository (at any given time).

I would suspect when pve-devel has patches applied, they would make their way into the test repo. But do they? And what's the schedule?

there is no fixed schedule, packages go into the public test repositories once they have cleared internal testing.
