Hi everyone,
I recently built a TrueNAS server and want to have 10gb networking. I am experiencing the same issue with two different 10gb cards that over time become unresponsive. If I power the server on its fine all day, but when the next morning rolls around, the 10gb is off on my switch, a simple unplug and reconnect of the om3 fiber re-establishes connectivity.
I first experienced the problem using this NIC I ordered from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X9T683K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And, as per the advice of the community, I then ebayed a Intel X520-DA2 Ethernet Server Adapter (it is genuine Yottamark, verified, etc.)
But the issue remains on both cards, where the TrueNAS server's 10gb will go unresponsive overnight. Not sure what else to do from here, I do have a solarflare SFN6122F nic that I was going to try next, but this is leading me to believe its unrelated to the networking cards.
