Hi All,

We are in process to procure HP DL380 Gen10 Server, just wondering to ask that if the 10g Network card of the server is compatible in proxmox in respect of host os and vm's with full speed utilization?

Do you know the model of the NIC?
Is it supported out of the box on Ubuntu 21.10 with its 5.13 kernel? The PVE 7 kernel is based on this one.

You are saying Proxmox VE 7.1 will be compatiable with this cards correct?

It seems those use the Intel X540 controller, which should be supported by the current PVE 7 kernel version.
But depending on the firmware version and HP's support, there might still be issues. So we can't guarantee that it works, but in most cases Intel NICs do work out of the box.
