Hello
I know is a stupid question, but I have to ask it.
I noticed that if I add the same datastore in 2 different datacenter and start a task on a datacenter, the other one is loosing the storage.
Is a single datastorage usable only in a single datacenter or may I use the same datastore in dc1 and dc2?

Thank you all for your answer

Hi,

what exactly do you mean by this? what does 'losing' the storage mean?

configuring/using a storage in pve should not have any effect on different pve installations...

Hi,
it should be possible, but it's not recommended, because your guest IDs will clash, e.g. VM 100 in dc1 and VM 100 in dc2. I think adding a namespace feature for such use cases is on the roadmap though.
