1.9 / USB Passthrough Probs

Hi everyone,

I have some serious problems with the 1.9 release.

For years I ´m using proxmox and I passthroughed 1 Fritzcard USB 2.0 and an AGFEO PBX to a virtual Windows Server 2003 R2. After the update the machine crashed at boot or later when activating the usb-devices in windows.

The only way I could get it working was degrading the "http://download.proxmox.com/debian/dists/lenny/pve1.8/binary-amd64/pve-qemu-kvm_0.14.1-1_amd64.deb" to version 0.14.1

Just to spread the Info.

I not tried the setup by installing a new Proxmox 1.9.

wondering if Proxmox team can included the suggested fix in the meantime kvm team resolves the issue.

What fix? Removing the assertion does no look correct to me?

Hi,

I have the same problem with usb.
With proxmox 1.8 my umts stick worked.
Is there a workaroud for proxmox 1.9??

For me the downgrade did resolve the problem....

the actual release of kvm 0.15 does not show up the usb 1.x key in the host....
downgrading to 0.14 is ok...
