I intentionally crashed the nod3 on a 3-node cluster to simulate the definitive death of node 3. I completely reinstalled the nod3 so that it is like "new" and virgin. With the new name 'nod3b' and a new IP address. My VMs have their disk on CEPH.

I have a dead node (system hd went bust) with ceph OSDs and monitor running. The manual describes that the node can be removed and that a new node with same IP and hostname can in fact be added provided it is a fresh PVE install.
However, with ceph, things might be more difficult...
I have a 4 nodes cluster composed by pve-01, pve-02, pve-03 and pve-04.
Now I need to upgrade pve-01, so I would like to dismiss the old server and then add a more performant one.
So, my quesiton is: can I remove pve-01 from cluster and then add the new server also named pve-01? Can be problems...

i'm testing large number of VPS replicated using the ZFS -R (recursion) option.
I am noticing that over 90/100 VPS the incremental replication sometimes fails and i hav to reset all snapshot on recv server..
Have someone the same experience?

I have a cluster of 4 nodes on Proxmox 5.
I want to remove node 1 and shutdown this old server and replace it with a new one.
But I see in corosync that the bindnetaddr is address of the node 1. What hapen if I remove node 1 to remplace it with new server ?

We have one server in the cluster that was originally setup with a software raid (I know, not supported). I finally got the ok to purchase and install an actual raid card (Perc H710 ).
My question is, since I will most likely have to rebuild this server, what steps are needed to bring the node...
