    proxmox update and spamassassin custom file

    Can custom.cf, local.cf, and other Perl code files in the /etc/mail/spamassassin directory be initialized during a Proxmox update that upgrades the version? Is there a procedure where other files in the /etc/mail/spamassassin directory can also be initialized? I would like to know in advance...
