Hello,
is it actually still necessary to re-rate the node when updating the kernel?
Or would I have to install KernelCare so I don't have to reboot anymore?
But this was still advised against in 2020 https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/should-i-use-kernelcare.75477/ has that changed?

What is the proper usage of Kernel Care?
As I know, Kernelcare does update the kernel in a running system.
After an update of Proxmox with a new kernel, is it necessary to reboot the server?
Or just keep it running with Kernelcare?

I realize the following is fairly new but I am curious if anyone is using this and can share their experiences with the product?

After reading the another post on the forum, I guess I am not 100% sure how KernelCare works...
