I did not see anything in the docs that directly addresses this....
IPoIB to the host OS works just fine and dandy. I have been unsuccessful in using that nic as the bridge port for a linux bridge.
AI gives a clear reason why it wouldn't but I have seen way too many AI responses that are clear...
