bug

I've been a little bothered with this issue where none of my LXCs show the login screen when I access the Console. The blank line expects a username, then it'll show "Password:" etc,. It happens in Debian, Fedora & Ubuntu LXCs. I've disabled my adblockers, tested it on Microsoft Edge and it...

I have a 6-node [pve2 ... pve9] PVE cluster [base versions: pvemgr 9.1.4, ceph 19.2.3] and I have started updating the nodes. After pve6 node upgrade two small OSDs failed to start back up, I destroyed them [as they would have been removed soon anyway]. I then upgraded pve9 [to...

Hi Everyone, I think I may have come across a bug? When configuring MTU on PVE, whether the GUI or CLI is synonymous, I checked both and MTU was setup to 1450, it doesn't actually apply to an LXC in the latest PVE- actually I am moments from rebooting this host to determine whether 7.0.14-14 &...

Summary VM (QEMU) consoles via noVNC reliably disconnect after a few seconds, on every QEMU VM, while LXC console (termproxy) works fine. This happens even when connecting from a Windows VM running on the same host, ruling out client-side network/proxy/firewall issues. pveproxy logs show SSL...

I have been getting a very nice headache with this very specific problem or "bug" some might with a GPU making the Proxmox VE installer and OS boot for some reason. I think this could be a bug with the drivers that are included with the PVE Installer and those that are in the OS once it is...

Hello everyone I deleted an old VM from PBS with id 100. The new VM always with id 100, from error in the backup. I solved the problem because inside the datastore there was the same id 100 but with the notes inside the folder. So I delete the 100 folder and now it works...

I have detected that network rate limit work wrong using HTTP request. This is a speed without rate limit: And here you can see a very slow speed using http, but normal speed when test using iperf: I reproduced this bug on all nodes with the last proxmox. pveversion...

Hello, I would like to report what appears to be a kernel regression affecting VFIO passthrough. Summary On my system VFIO passthrough works correctly with kernel 6.17.9-1-pve, but after upgrading to 6.17.13-1-pve or 6.17.13-2-pve, DMAR faults start appearing after the VM runs for some time...

Since I start using Proxmox at home I always found strange the way I need to know the free available space on the disk as on almost all of the places of the UI the units are 1024 for KiB... etc, except when you select a Storage where you can see 1000 for KB (without the i) finally I found the...

Hello everyone, This post informs users experiencing this type of issue, as well as developers. I'm using PVE 9.1.4 no-subscription repo with kernel 6.17.4-2. I recently realised that network connection downgraded to 100 Mbps. TLDR: 6.17 kernel has a bug. That's the issue! Gigabit Switch /...

I configured an LXC container using the PMG 9.0-1 template. I use DHCPv4 for IPv4 and SLAAC for IPv6, I do not have any DHCPv6 server in my network. These settings work for all my LXC containers. However, when configuring the pmg interface like that in the proxmox webui the container starts but...
