@Fabian_E sorry for the long delay on answering; i have been doing some testing removing nodes from the cluster, reinstalling them, and adding them again just to check everything works fine.
Most of the time i have removed or added a (reinstalled) node from/to the cluster everything has worked...

@Stoiko Ivanov Thanks, the server was rebooted several times before and after; it was clearly no mismatch between kernel and modules as i was able to mount directly the nfs share via command line.
Anyway, removing the nfs share from WEB UI and adding it again worked, so issue solved.
