    Smarthost question

Ok. Adding here for anyone wondering in the future. Figured it out. I just added my stuff at the end of the template file, and then ran the command to regenerate main.cf from the template. Any duplicate parameters present in the Proxmox config above get overridden by your ones at the bottom...

New Mobile App for Proxmox VE!

Wow, missed this somehow! Great UI. Really beats the default web client on mobile. This VE just gets better and better.

[SOLVED] Unable to create backup group "/mnt/datastore/<datastore>" - Permission denied (os error 13)

Thanks fabian. I'll report back if I run into this issue again, but at this point not looking to try and reproduce it. It seemed more like an authentication issue somehow than a mount issue, since I was able to list the volumes on PBS iirc. Will report back if I discover anything new regarding...

    Smarthost question

Hi! I know this is a zombie thread but it's the best one I've found on this subject. At present, I'm trying to set up external SMTP relay from PMG, with an internal postfix server being proxied by PMG. I've configured it successfully on barebones postfix before, but am at a bit of a loss for...

[SOLVED] Unable to create backup group "/mnt/datastore/<datastore>" - Permission denied (os error 13)

I'm not sure I'm understanding correct. Here's what I tried (from pbs shell): root@pbs:~# runuser -l backup -c 'mkdir /mnt/datastore/zbackup/{vm,host,ct}' This account is currently not available. root@pbs:~# runuser -l backup -c 'mkdir /mnt/datastore/zbackup/test' This account is currently not...

[SOLVED] Unable to create backup group "/mnt/datastore/<datastore>" - Permission denied (os error 13)

Greetings Proxmoxians I've just deployed a PBS server with a single ZFS datastore (zbackup in the backup log below) and cannot seem to figure out why backup tests are failing with these permission errors. The PVE cluster is authenticated against PBS with a user eeboo@pbs who has Admin...

    Cloud-init Ubuntu 18.04 - netplan v2

Nice one. Worked for me! I was having similar problems. Not only was the cloud-init networking not working but a clone of a template with cloud-init wouldn't change ANY of the settings until I removed the cloud-init instance + configs that ship with the iso now. For what it's worth, the image...

3 Node cluster "permission denied - invalid PVE ticket (401)"

For anyone else knocking about with this... Seem to have solved it for now. Still not sure why the error happened during cluster creation! 1.) pvecm updatecerts systemctl restart pvedaemon pveproxy 2.) restarted nodes. 3.) cleared browser cookies for all three nodes. ..still had the errors...

3 Node cluster "permission denied - invalid PVE ticket (401)"

Same thing is happening to me too. Fourth cluster I've built, but first time using the GUI and separate corosync network to do so (now with 6.0.4) Hosts can all ping one-another on corosync network, and all went fine until joining node #2 and #3 via GUI. Is the corosync cluster network...

[SOLVED] Qemu/disk migration network. Is it "Corosync/cluster" network, or native bridge?

Greetings Proxmoxians! I've got a Proxmox network question that I hope someone can answer as I can't seem to find a clue myself. I've read through forums, best practices and the Admin Guide. There are 4 servers in a cluster. However, Ceph is not going to be used in this deployment, because...

From what I understand the full release notes will be shown once the stable build is done, but would you be able to give...
