Greetings
I have a cluster of servers which are regularly doing backups and snapshots.
During some production-critical periods, I need to "hold" such traffic/load which could impact the performances.
What do you think would be the proper way to do that?
Thanks in advance

Actually for me this was 2 years ago, so my cluster evolved :) Upgrades were made, and this machine has been retired.
I hope @henryd99 will find a solution! (fingers crossed).

Is there a possibility to resume the replication without erasing all the data on the target side (and therefore re-sending a lot of data)?
Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain. I understand it better now: you restore from the host side, but not necessarily the original host. it's really cool.
Does the backup includes all disks from the original CT/VM? I've seen the unused disks are skipped.
Thanks for your answer.
I've been running a cluster for years, so I'm aware of the various pitfalls, including the IDs.
My concern was more about the VM/CT config. I noticed you cannot restore a backup from the backup server, you have to do it from the host, that means from a configured VM/CT...

I'm a long time user of Proxmox but a recent user of PBS and I love it.
I was wondering: I have VMs which are off but I keep for archiving. Would it be possible to backup them, and delete the VM from the node? would I be able to restore them one day if needed?
Thanks in advance...

I'm using the build-in certificate client of Proxmox for the GUI.
I noticed that randomly I end up with either a complete, working certificate, or a incomplete certificate (not full chain).
I've checked with https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html
Re-ordering a certificate from...

Yesterday I installed my first Proxmox Backup Server ; I was able to easily add it as Storage to my cluster.
However, I can access it only from the node I was connected to when adding the storage ; other nodes see it as "not online (500)". The storage was configured for "all nodes"...

I have a 7 nodes cluster communicating with a private network.
I just noticed there's a connection between a random port of one of them to the public IP of another on port 8006:
14:34:52.461001 IP node5public.47128 > node3public.8006: Flags [.], ack 49438, win 501, options...

I have a CT running for years on ZFS.
This morning, listing the CT content from the host is empty, but the CT is running fine and from the CT I can see all the files...
From inside the CT:
# ll /
total 389...
OK I found it. For those having the same problem: the zfs property refquota wasn't set correctly, so I did:
zfs set refquota=2.5T rpool/ct/subvol-199-disk-0

I moved a CT to a new server with larger disks ; the CT works, but if I try to resize/enlarge its disk, I get this error:
Feb 14 15:24:46 pvedaemon[2758967]: zfs error: cannot set property for 'rpool/ct/subvol-199-disk-0': size is less than current used or reserved space

Thanks for your answer. This seems way too complicated for a simple iptable command. It would have been handy to have it in the proxmox GUI as it can now request https certs, but since it's only a one-time configuration to have all the work done in a dedicated tool such as Traefik, so I'll go on...
