I can't seem to get a spice connection to any machines on proxmox. I have configured the display hardware as spice, and then I choose to connect via spice the program downloads a file, and using that with virt manager the connection times out.

I am new to proxmox and trying to understand the difference between containers, appliances, and things like docker?
I found links on this forums that mentioned downloading an owncloud template, but all the links point to empty...

I have windows vm's and windows clients. I have tried to get spice working, but the client never connects to the server.
Are there other options for remote access of the VM's that work better than using a browser and window? Id like to have something with copy and paste.
