For HA you want your failover hosts to be nearly identical in configuration.
If you have Host1 and Host2. Host1 has VMBR0,1 and 2. Host2 has VMBR0 and 1 (missing 2).
When you have a VM on host1, and a nic connected to VMBR2, then you cant get this VM working on host2, because the bridge is not...
Thank you Fabian_E. I have missed this thread.
Editing the file "/usr/share/perl5/PVE/LXC/Setup/CentOS.pm" fixed this issue for now until the patch is rolled out.
Grep your logs on 'pvestatd'. I've had the same issue some time ago. There is probably 1 vm causing this issue.
See my other thread:

Hi,
After I have updated my Centos 8 lxc container, pve fails to start this container.
root@hv1:~# pct start 310
Job for pve-container@310.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status pve-container@310.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details...
Seems like the Journal error was relevant. `pvestatd` was trying ~12x per minute (every 5 seconds or so) to clean lxc container 303... This probably caused the webUI to become unresponsive to other input such as requesting data from lxc/kvm. Shutting down the vm caused it to seize and bring back...
Hi Guys
Got a strange thing happening on my sever. After the upgrade to PVE6, the web interface shows all the VMs / LXC containers as unknown status.
Here i'm asking if there is a known bug / similar.
The status window does show active CPU usage and such. History graphs are not working however...
Hi Alwin,
Option 15 was been set correctly.
My own workstation also has a lease from the same scope and does get this information (which is not domain joined)
Also my iPhone, within that scope, literally says: "Searchdomain = int.domain.tld"
Checked resolv.conf on one of my test containers...
Yeah,
I have a NAS running on my network with an NFS mount for my Proxmox hosts.
Every host has this connection as it is connected on a Cluster-level.
When i would create a VM/Template, I can select from the NFS storage:

Okay. I'm bumping this.
This is still not working and it is driving me crazy...
I have tested different templates. Made sure host settings are correct and what not.
Until now, i have been able to find it is working correctly for a container that has been given a static IP. But not for one with...
Hi Alwin,
That is strange. I noticed you are on a diffrent version. I updated && upgraded my hosts. but i'm still on 5.2-2. You are on 5.2-3. I'm not sure if it makes a difference. (I'm on non-sub repo)
Nope. Does not work. i've tried the following:
- Static IP
- other vlan / (dns zone)
- downloaded new template
- deleted this container in particular and recreated it under new container ID
Hi Alwin,
Ty for your response @Alwin . I've already tried. Nonetheless i've tried again, without success. Also, I have noticed that on some other containers it does work. Also Ubuntu images.
Hey guys,
I've encountered an issue with setting host names on LXC containers.
When I set a hostname on creation for LXC, it doesn't correctly push over the config. I can also not manually set it! (well, i can. but it is lost on reboot)
Check the screenshots. Anyone has any clue? please let me...
Hi guys,
I'm curious if anyone could explain me. when adding LDAP or AD server as auth realm. There is the option for TFA:
Now,
How do I manage the OTP tokens for each user? Are they created in AD/LDAP or are they stored in proxmox (manually create them).
Bonus question:
Anyone maybe tried to...
There are many different ways on how to set this up. I currently have mulitple nodes with VMs. but i'm just using separate bridges to conntect a vm to the network. no 'internal' VM network. If you have other nodes they would have to go 'external' anyways, via a private 'internal' subnet/vlan to...
