Well, it seems that there is a PBS API
https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/api-viewer/index.html#/reader/_upgrade_/download
is that the way i could archive that?
Is there a Powershell solution around to work with that API?
Hello,
is there a way to automaticly, via a script, download the file content of a PBS snapshot?
In fact automate somehow what can be done in the GUI (see screenshot)
Hello,
i just realized that when viewing the log of a replication job, it does not show the timestamp of when the actions have actually happened but a timestamp from some minutes before that absolutly makes no sense.
It seems that behavior happens to all the replication logs.
That for sure can't...
yeah, it's working with html, but that is really not what i'm locking for. Writting html code is a bit to much additional work as i would like to invest and it would make copy&paste from & to our ticket system a pain.
OK, seems io got it.
If someone falls into the same problem with old node data, what i have done is basicly.
- enabled Firewall rules for ssh on ALL networks that are attached to the Node (i use tweo, one for migration data, one for migration info & management )
- check your IP and names in all...
OK, it seems in the file /etc/pve/priv/known_hosts there had been a wrong IP (seems the newly installed node also changed IP).
After changing the IP in /etc/pve/priv/known_hosts and adding all nodes IP to the /etc/hosts file, i can now log on to and from every Node vioa ssh-cmdline without...
I have checked all that key-files in /etc/priv/ and found that the ssh-rsa keys in /etc/pve/priv/authorized_keys have NOT the same length.
Two of the three keys in that file have longer lengths but the last one, from the oldest system which was reinstalled under the same name, has a much shorter...
Hello,
i have a cluster with 3 Nodes, now each node on the last PVE version.
One was newly installed and integrated,
one was updated from PVE 7.x,
one had been reinstalled from a old version with the same Name and IP.
Now, when doing a migration, it mostly brakes with a ssh error. Only to the...
Hm, seems i had some wrong thoughts.
OK, i understand what you mean. Define on the target host what a OS-User can do via ssh-server settings and do not touch Proxmox logic at all.
I had thought to restrict that user via proxmox permission system, but that would not work via ssh at all i gues...
Hello,
i have written a script that every day creates a zfs-snapshot on my VMs and zfs send incremential snapshots of them via a ssh-tunnel to a host as a form of failsafe offline server.
My problem is that everything runs as root user and the pwds are hardcoded in that script.
I would like to...
OK, a maybe stupid question. Which bootloader is my machine using?
As i#m stiuck at GRUB RESCUE, i gues it's GRUB? But if i remeber well, i have installed via installer on a zfs-RAID10, so it should be systemd-boot?
i do not have proxmox-boot-tool in proxmox boot media rescue to check it. So...
That's not possible in that way. I the HP-Bios can only select the HD-controller to boot from and select the order in which devices are tried (Floppy, HD controller, Network, ..) but there is no way to select a single disk to boot from.
