Hi,
I imagine the following situation:
* Proxmox on a dedicated server (OVH) with a fix IP
* Some VMs on this Proxmox with web services like a CMS, mail server, trouble ticket system, ... on it.
How could I reach these web services from the internet because the Proxmox is just listening on...
By chance I found yesterday the reason for my problem(s): The monitor was connected with a kvm switch to the computer (what not disturbed Proxmox 1.9). After connecting the monitor directly to the computer, it started without problems after the first install of Proxmox 2.x and now it runs fine...
Hi,
I would like to know if there are plans to integrate VDI functionalities to Proxmox?
What I mean is for example:
* VM Pools
* Golden images / templates
* Persistent and dynamic VMs (with pre starting)
* Broker features
Some other commercial (ex VDI in the box) and open source projects...
By the way and just a try, but I installed on the same machine a Debian squeeze without problems...
So the base of the error messages is in relation with pve 2.0 (beta and rc1).
It would be nice to have some hints for resolving the problem. Thank you in advance!
Dietmar, I *am* sure. I even kill all partitions with gparted. I only have one disk with one empty partition. I tried again to reinstall: no problem. But the same errors with the first boot. :-(
Imho it has to do with the DELL machines in combination of the new Proxmox. Version 1.9 runs well.
Reinstallation with the CD (.pve-cd-id.txt: 8e41f634-5892-11e1-908c-001517f8c3e5) I burned with the ISO from here: http://www.proxmox.com/downloads/proxmox-ve/iso-images/107-proxmox-ve-2
After a successful installation and a reboot from the machine I receive the following messages that I...
This one to be sure to have the latest: http://www.proxmox.com/downloads/proxmox-ve/iso-images/107-proxmox-ve-2
16.02.12 - 365 MB -Version 2.0-8d4f53a0-20
I had the same problem with older versions of 2.0.
Hi,
I use Proxmox since some years. I installed and used for some tests version 1.9 without problems on a DELL Optiplex MT-780.
I downloaded the 2.0 beta (kernel 2.6.32-6-pve) and did the installation procedure on the same machine without problems.
But after rebooting it, I receive after the...

Hi, after upgrading like described in the wiki, I receive the following message doing a pveversion:
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.

Hi,
I have a NAS QNAP TS-219P configured as SAN with iSCSI and attached to the same network as my Proxmox 1.5.
I followed http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage_Model to configure the iSCSI target. This worked fine and I can see it in the storage list. It's enabled, active and shared. However the...
You were right, sorry! I tried with an other machine under lenny and it works without problems. So the problems ARE on the other machine and have nothing to do with proxmox.
Maybe but all I tried had no success. Do you have perhaps a hint where/what to look? I'm sure that my iceweasel works fine and even the site from sun tells me that my java installation seems to work without problems.
I have the same problem on a Debian Lenny. Latest Java is installed and functional. Accessing the console from a OpenVZ containers works fine. The same on a KVM VM hangs Iceweasel.
