I have the exact problem restoring a qemu backup from old proxmox (1.5) onto current version. the backup is in *.tgz format. qmrestore or qm create results in almost immediate error of "VM is locked (create)".
Any hint is appreciated.

and run this command to update to 1.9?
aptitude upgrade && aptitude install proxmox-ve-2.6.32
Then upgrade to 2.x using your other link?

Hi I was doing some search to upgrade my old 1.5 box. But it seems all the lenny repositories are gone. Is it still possible to upgrade 1.5 to something current?
What is the recommended way?

Hi I have a data drive (as a file server) on my proxmox that is bound to a container.
The container is from the ubuntu 10.04 LTS X64 template.
I tried to spin down the drive using hdparm within the container but it says:
"/dev/sdb: No such file or directory"
I tried to spin down the drive...
