So what I did to make import of WhiteSpaces work.
First I editet the my esxi according to https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Migrate_to_Proxmox_VE#Considerations%20for%20Mass%20Import. I set the correct session settings. Then I deleted all snapshots of the VMs (Makes importing 4x faster)

Perfect only problem is that simply switching from sata to scsi does not resolve the boot problem for existing pfsense installations. I had to completly reinstall pfsense using only scsi for both the cd drive and the storage drive otherwhise it would result in the same problem. Detaching and...
UPDATE
I found a partial fix. The problem I was having was because the CD used to boot pfSense was connected using IDE. If connect it using scsi I am able to boot into the installer.

bios: ovmf
boot: order=scsi0;ide2;net0
cores: 4
cpu: host
efidisk0: local-lvm:vm-102-disk-0,efitype=4m,size=4M

Things I tried:
Change CPU model
Change Ram
Change Bios
Change Display to serial
Change from Q35
Change the SCSI Controller
Remove the CD drive
Change the type of network adapter
Boot without PCIe

EDIT: Issue during...
Today I was unable to start any freeBSD (I tried OpnSense and PfSense) based OS using Proxmox Version 8.0.4 after a server reboot. Both VMs got stuck at boot when loading CAM. I also checked on my second playing field server which also suffered from the issue.
What solved my issues was rolling...
