Unless you provide new information to your use case. I can only recommend you shutdown both systems, then start both systems.

with your help i was able to install the hp-helath and hp-snmp-agents, after i installed the hp-ams on my g8
did your fans drop-in speed after you installed the packages? mine did not.
ive done some research and have figured out a partial solution for why you get apt-get install hp-ams. (HPE proliant g8)
you need to use dist/project_ver = stretch/10.62

i reinstalled proxmox repeated steps.
i was able to pass the first sas disk through surprisingly, but the second sas drive gave the same error:

3tb wd black sata hdd

Im having the same problem where my drive is showing up with the device id of: scsi-35000c50058fbc697 and device type unknown.
my goal is to pass the sas drive through to my truenas vm but when i use the command: qm set 526 -scsi10 /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-35000c50058fb9147.
