Hello, I know it is old topic, and that fuse is used to load the data into directory. I see the explanation on manual here
Still, can you please help here, I have a strange situation and had to recover quite some files, when I recovered from backup /etc/pve, pve-cluster.service will not start...
Well, I didn't find option 'maxfiles' within the GUI, but it is defined in /etc/pve/storage.cfg
as manual states here : https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage
Thanks for reply, and you're probably correct, with the command:
$ uname -a
Linux srv2 5.10.0-13-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.106-1 (2022-03-17) x86_64 GNU/Linux
It doesn't look like PVE kernel.
I followed this procedure...
It happened to me recently after restart of the server, and this option of import was helpful.
Why did it happen on the first place?
In my case, I had this message:
$ zfs version
the ZFS modules are not loaded.
Try running '/sbin/modprobe zfs' as root to load them.
Although it exists:
$...
This is so weird, I'm checking the history, it has never been touched manually.
Only apt upgrade or autoremove.
Also, pve-kernel-helper has not be removed/reinstalled etc.
Something is strange all together, I will have to investigate further.
Thanks for responses, anyhow.

Hi @dcsapak ,
Thanks for the answer, I will implement this cleaning as you suggested until the feature is available in update.
I guess I can clean the /var/log/proxmox-backup/api as well, actually, better to use logrotate here as the logs are moved daily to zst compressed access.log and...
Hi,
I just noticed that /var/log/proxmox-backup is using quite a lot of space.
It seems as log rotation is not explicitly defined in logrotate.
Is there any other setting that is taking care of this log rotation or can I just use logrotate as for any other logs?
I didn’t find anything related...
Hi @Dunuin
Thanks for answer. Changing the permissions as you described is the way out. It works as expected.
Only minus is that backup for the host must exist in order to change the permission to API user.
I shall figure out how to organize that efficiently in order to deploy it on all...
Hello,
I have some problems to make this work properly.
There is already a user like backup@pbs that is doing a regular backup of VM's.
Also, backup of the file/directory with same credentials is working fine with the command:
$ proxmox-backup-client backup test.pxar:/root/test/ --repository...
Hi, thanks a lot for your answer and you nailed to the point!
Just checked with host as the CPU type on a test instance and it runs smooth as it should.
Seems like this is solving my problem (shall complete that with the live system, but this obstacle has gone).
No, Tableau is not in the...
Hello,
I'm using proxmox 6.4.13 with Ubuntu 18.04 as VM, Tableau server is installed there.
It all worked fine, but the latest upgrade of Tableau is not successful with message:
Further explanation on Tableau support is saying:

Hi,
I got the same error the first time that client did backup to backup server.
Seems that client never did ssh to its backup server and there are common question like:
Do you accept connection y/n
This can be done with first connection from the shell like:
$ proxmox-backup-client list...
