Back up Synology folder(s) to tape with PBS: How best to do it?

Fellow techies, I want to be able to do an 'on demand' tape backup job of a couple of folders on our Synology NAS (running DSM 7) to the tape library running with our PBS. What's the best way to go about connecting to the Synology unit to do this? A couple of things I've considered: Setting...

ProxMox VE 8.3.3: Imported .ova won't boot

Turns out I was able to extract the .ISO file from the archive with 7Zip. I'll give just the ISO a try in PVE as time allows. Fiona -- Thank you for filing a bug report on this! To me, that's above and beyond the 'call of duty.' ;-)

ProxMox VE 8.3.3: Imported .ova won't boot

    New user, observations, suggestions...

Ah. I see... Well... I'm not particularly happy with that answer, but it is what it is. Thank you for responding. I will investigate choices other than PBS for my backup needs.

    New user, observations, suggestions...

Good day, I just started using PBS 2.2. It's on a dedicated server which also contains my in-house file archive and home directories. I plan to bring in a tape library at a later date. The tape features, as near as I can tell, will work just fine. The immediate issue I'm running into is there...

    PBS: Tape drive/library support?

Pardon if this is a '101' question. Does PBS support backing up to tape? Ideally, to a tape library/changer? If not... I'd really like to see that happen. Symantec's Backup Exec works, but it's a pain in the tailfeathers. Thanks!
